Payomet welcomes Bob MacDonald as part of our TENT Talk series on Tuesday, August 12, where he will share his firsthand experience of "peace and love" at The Woodstock Music & Art Fair, the now legendary three-day music festival held on a dairy farm in upstate New York in August of 1969.
Fifty six years ago, Bob journeyed up to Woodstock, NY, for a festival what would become the most memorable of his lifetime. Beer, water, State Police and farmers proved to be an interesting combo! Come hear Bob reminisce about what he heard, saw, and felt all those years ago. He'll explore who did and didn’t come to Woodstock (and why?) and who wrote a song while on stage (and why?!)
