Identifying Human Trafficking

The Children’s House Child Advocacy Center is offering a course titled Identifying Human Trafficking on July 30th at 12:00 PM. In this training, participants will learn how to identify and support survivors of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) and youth trafficking. Presented by Caydence and Brittney, the course will help attendees recognize that CSEC-involved youth are victims of crime and survivors of abuse. It will cover how to identify red flags of trafficking, understand the vulnerabilities that make youth susceptible to exploitation, and apply trauma-informed principles when interacting with affected individuals. Additionally, participants will learn about available resources.
