Who is this course for?
Level 1 and above - This 1.5 hour class is suitable for all levels.
What does the course cover?
Karen will teach you the technique of creating Decorative Glass using specialist glass, creating your own designs in preparation for it to be fired in our kiln. Following your own design ideas, we will inspire you to create your own panel to the design of your choice - perhaps a line of beach huts and seagulls or crashing waves. Your piece will then be fired in our kiln and ready for collection within two weeks, date will be agreed during the class.
Bring DESIGN IDEAS - your tutor will have examples of designs but we recommend you consider what designs you would like to make and bring any images with you.
What is included in the fee?
Your fee £48 includes tuition by Karen, the use of tools and equipment and all materials.
Each student can make one piece of your own design.
There is a maximum of 6 students per class to ensure individual attention.
Please note your pieces are taken away to be fired and will be ready for collection the following week.
What do I need to bring?
Please wear sturdy and fully enclosed footwear (no open toes or gaping sides) and clothing that you do not mind getting dirty or damaged.
Please ensure long hair is tied back.
You may bring your own drinks. All drink containers/bottles must have lids.
No food can be consumed within the classroom
