How amazing to dance on Tynemouth Longsands Beach at night for the FULL MOON! 🌕 The 8th day of the 8th month at 8pm! Numerology suggests 888 is associated with abundance, prosperity, and the manifestation of one's desires....ooh fabulous 👌🏼
We will light up the beach as we are bathed by the beautiful moon dancing to some fantastic inspiring music.
Join me for this fun, creative, uplifting and simple dance experience like no other! Groove will nurture your body, mind, heart, and soul - no experience needed! You dance it YOUR way - you can't get it wrong! Let go, feel free, move your body and feel fantastic.
No complicated dance steps, no left, right, front or back...we just groove... dance floor style!
My playlists always bring all styles of music to get your groove on....funk, jazzy, gentle slow expressive, tribal beats, rock, pop, disco, 90s rave... all sorts!
We start with centering ourselves and breathing, then stretching, circulation and warming the body up. We then start to move to the music slowly and simply as there are only 1-3 moves to each song. We dance these few moves together, but you'll do it in YOUR OWN UNIQUE STYLE ...I give plenty of cues and suggestions to spark your creativity and playfulness....we are all different, and we should all look different!
We will end the class with stillness and relaxation...lying on the sand, so please bring a yoga mat, towel or blanket to lie on. You just relax the body and concentrate on your breath. You will leave the class feeling a sense of stress free, feel good bliss.
