Set high on the cliffs overlooking the North Sea, the magnificent Tynemouth Priory and Castle will once again become the most extraordinary Groove dancefloor — this time with a festive twist.
As we gather to celebrate the season, we’ll dance among the medieval ruins of the 7th-century Benedictine monastery, beneath soaring arches and ancient stone walls that have held centuries of human stories. These sacred grounds have witnessed monks at prayer, saints at rest, Viking invasions, kings, battles, and the unwavering resilience of a place built to protect. Now, they’ll hold us — a joyful, modern community moving together in spirit, celebration, and unity.
