Forest bathing, also known as Shinrin-yoku in Japanese, originated in Japan in the 1980s. The practice involves immersing oneself in nature and connecting with it using all of the senses. It is considered a form of movement meditation. The practice involves being calm and quiet, observing nature, and breathing deeply. It is an excellent way to slow down and become grounded. Studies have shown that it helps reduce stress and improve health and well-being.
