Walking a labyrinth is a calming practice that invites reflection, mindfulness, and renewal. Unlike a maze, there are no tricks or dead ends—just a single winding path that gently guides you inward and back out again. Many people find it helps quiet the mind, reduce stress, and create space for clarity or spiritual connection. Whether used for meditation, prayer, or simply a mindful walk, the labyrinth offers a simple yet powerful way to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. Walking the labyrinth as a group can deepen the sense of peace, much like practicing yoga together.
No experience is needed—just come ready to walk at your own pace for about 35 minutes.
After the walk, we will provide a choice of hot tea or cacao for you to enjoy while Renée guides us in creating our own journals. She’ll share prompts and ideas for how to use them, and you’ll take yours home as a keepsake from the experience. Cacao refers to a pure, less-processed form of chocolate, often derived from the Criollo bean and used in its whole form. Cacao is served as a rich, unsweetened drink made from pure ground cacao beans, known for its high antioxidants, minerals like magnesium, and natural compounds.
Renée is a Healing Arts Specialist with a master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling. During graduate school, she studied the benefits of labyrinth walking and will share both her insights and information about other local labyrinths open to the public.
