ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Chris Whitaker was born and raised in London, where he worked as a financial trader for ten years before pursuing a career in writing. He now lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and three children. His debut novel, Tall Oaks, was published in 2016 and won the CWA John Creasey New Blood Dagger Award. It was also shortlisted for several other awards, establishing him as a notable new voice in crime fiction.
