Tea & Dessert Book Tasting: From the New Shelf

Described as "literary speed dating", NMPL Book Tastings will help adult readers broaden their reading horizons and discover exciting new book adventures. Participants will have the chance to sample a variety of books in 5 minute time increments, and when the bell sounds, they can decide to bring the book home, try another title, or do both. Explore new authors, genres, and series that you might not have tried before. No more complaints of, "I don't have anything to read!" Plus we'll have hot tea and delicious homemade goodies to sample!

Book Menu:
While we all love an old favorite or a familiar author, you'll never discover your next great read without trying something new... so all books for this tasting will be straight from our New Arrivals shelf!

Dessert Menu:
🍓 Strawberry Lemonade Cookies - These summer cookies are bursting with strawberry lemonade flavor and are the best combination of sweet and sour.

💚 Key Lime Pie Bars - A buttery graham‑cracker crust topped with a smooth, tangy‑sweet key lime custard gives these delicious bars a twist on classic key lime pie.
