DIY Archiving: Phone Scanning Basics

Do you have old photos you want to digitize? Learn to scan them with your smart phone in this hands-on workshop!

Did you know you could scan important documents and precious photos on your phone? Join Jamie in the Genealogy Room at the Laman Library to learn the basics of scanning your personal papers with your smart phone, what apps are available, and how to store or upload your scans.

No registration is required. All levels of experience are welcome, although confidence in smart phone basics will be helpful. You only need to bring your phone as some materials will be available to try scanning yourself, but if you can bring your own photos that’s great!
