AUTUMN SUN CD RELEASE CONCERT/PARTY

ANNOUNCEMENT: WE ARE HAVING A "BABY"!!!!

Blurring the lines between Americana and New Folk, Autumn Sun reaches deep into the heart with original songs of substance and story, and classic folk songs given new life and made fresh with harmony and haunting bold new instrumentation.

Band members include:

• Sue Horowitz: lead vocals/guitar
• Susan Murphy: keyboards/whistles/uilleann pipes/wind instruments
• Margaret Ball-Lumumba: fiddle/trombone
• Joseph Rayle: bass
• Curtis Kretz: drums/percussion

Autumn Sun’s song writers are award-winning, and folk music chart-topping! Susan Murphy is a lauded composer/ lyricist with roots in the NYC theatre/cabaret scene. The band’s lead singer, Sue Horowitz, is also an award-winning writer, and a nationally touring folk artist. Band members have performed at venues around the Northeast, including Lincoln Center, Lake Placid Center for the Arts, Finger Lakes Grassroots Festival, Hudson River Revival Clearwater Festival, and Falcon Ridge Folk Festival.

Horowitz and Murphy have combined their stellar writing forces, and added talented musicians to the mix, blending drums, bass, fiddle, keyboard, guitar, Celtic whistles, trombone and uilleann pipes. The result is a SUPER multi-instrumental fresh new Americana group!

Concert starts at 7:30 pm- Doors open 7:00 pm, and carpooling is always encouraged. Get your tickets now. Tickets in advance are $20. Tickets at the door $25, day of the show.
