COLLABORATING IN THE WRITERS ROOM with JOAN FORD

Are you an aspiring tv writer, curious about what life in the writer's room is like? In this workshop you'll get a crash course in the skills needed to succeed in a professional writer's room, including: pitching, giving notes, and being a team player while still letting your comedic voice shine through! Along the way we'll develop a brand new, original sitcom and write the first few pages together, as a room!

Joan Ford is a comedian who has written on shows for Disney, HBO, Netflix, Cartoon Network, Quibi and a bunch of other places. You can currently see her on the UCB stage with her all tras/gnc/non-binary team QTs. You can also catch her performing with her best friend and sketch partner, Raft, in their two person sketch team; Joan and Raft.
