The wheel of the year turns, and we are at Imbolc. The winter solstice saw the return of the Sun; now, Imbolc marks the end of Winter, the coming of the waxing Sun, and the first stirrings of new life.
1st day of February is the day of Bridget, or Bridie/Brigid. Bridget is the triple aspect goddess Maiden, Mother, and Crone. She is the patron of healing wells and springs; of poets and poetry; of the magic of metalwork and blacksmiths; she rules the home fire and the hearth. Bridget's cross is woven out of reeds or straw, to adorn the Imbolc altar.
Join us in the Community Hall at Tyn Cellar Farm for an Imbolc meditation and sacred sounds, with Jill. 🎶 Weather permitting we then go outside around the firepit 🔥 for drumming and Chants.(if wet we stay inside to drum) .
The evening ends with hot drinks and cakes and nibbles. Food to share is most welcome 🙏
