Depth & Detail with Charcoal Pencils

Get ready to smudge, blend, and bring your drawings to life! In this relaxed, beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the basics of blending and shading with charcoal pencils.

Your instructor, Joanne Gallant, is an accomplished artist known for her incredibly lifelike animal portraits—created entirely with charcoal and pastel pencils! She’ll provide a simple outline sketch of an eye to get you started, then guide you through the tips and tricks that bring depth, detail, and realism to your work.
