Gullane 8-hour Challenge

Complete as many 4.366 mile loops as possible across a versatile landscape of sandy beaches, rugged coastline, forest trail, and grass fields in an 8 hour time limit. Cut off time for beginning a final lap will be 7:59:59 hours - cut off time for final lap completion will be 9:00:00 hours. Runners will be provided with a 'clip card' to be punched by an event marshal upon completion of each lap to track number of laps completed.

3 Laps = Half Marathon

6 Laps = Full Marathon

7+ Laps = Ultra Marathon

Route: The route will be a combination of sanded beach, rocky coastline, forest trail, and grassy fields with 367ft of ascent per lap
