The Annual Rockin for Boobies Concert started as a fundraising event for women battling breast cancer. Created by a local law enforcement officer, Josh, whose fiancé, Bridgett, was battling breast cancer, and they wanted to do something to make a positive impact. Since the first concert, Bridgett succumbed to her disease, but the concert has continued on in her memory - Bridgett's Journey. As time passed, Josh partnered with Support 1 to assist them in raising funds for their non-profit. This year, Josh decided to make the annual Rockin for Boobies concert bigger than year's past and brought this to the Support 1 fundraising team.
The 5th Annual Rockin for Boobies Concert will be held at the Camellia located on the beautiful grounds of the Lookaway Inn in North Augusta. Doors will open at 5pm with IronHead BBQ catering a delicious meal at 530pm. Then the music will get started at 6pm with Augusta's very own Elvis, Liam Hewitt performing live on stage. Around 730pm, North Augusta's very own rock band, Be My Legacy, will take the stage and perform. And last but certainly not least, Ryan Abel and Friends will take the stage around 9pm to rock out!
Tickets are limited and can be purchased individually or a corporate table of eight. Additionally, the wonderful staff at Lookaway Inn has provided this event a special rate for rooms at their beautiful Bed and Breakfast Inn! Make sure to look for the Rocker's Special Tickets where you get Tickets and Dinner for TWO AND a room at the Lookaway Inn Bed and Breakfast!
