Year-End Student Retreat

Along the disciples' journey with Jesus, he gave this invitation to them: "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest" (Mark 6:31). As Jesus journeyed with his disciples, he made space for signficiant moments to retreat together. In these retreat spaces they could rejoice in God's goodness, reflect on their journey with God, and be refilled by God's presence.

After all the exams are done and the papers are submitted, join us for Gordon-Conwell's first Year-End Student Retreat—a space to reoice, reflect, refill—held at the serene Rolling Ridge Conference Center starting Monday, May 19 at 5:00 PM to Wednesday, May 21 at 3:00 PM. Set on a sprawling lakeside wooded manor, Rolling Ridge is the ideal place to eat together, play together, rest together, worship together.

THIS IS A STUDENT RETREAT OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS WHO WERE ENROLLED IN CLASSES DURING THE 2024–2025 ACADEMIC YEAR.

REGISTRATION OPTIONS

While this retreat is especially designed for those who can commit to staying overnight for the entire retreat (Monday-Wednesday) space is available for people who wish to come for the day.

• overnight registration (2-night accommodation Monday-Wednesday)
• 3-day day-only registration (attendance on all 3 days; NO overnight accommodation)
• 2-day day-only registration (attendance on 2 specified days; NO overnight accommodation)
• 1-day day-only registration (attendance on 1 specified day; NO overnight accommodation)

REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION DEPOSITS

The cost for this retreat is happily covered by the Life Together Office. While an initial deposit is required to hold your registration, all deposits will be refunded in full to registrants who attend the retreat. Deposits are fully refundable for cancelations made by Sunday, May 4. Any cancelations made after Sunday, May 4 or lack of attendance at the retreat will not be eligible to receive any refund.

• overnight registration: $30 deposit to be refunded to those who attend the retreat
• day-only registration: $10/day deposit to be refunded to those who attend their selected days

TRANSPORTATION

We encourage students to carpool and coordinate rides with other students attending the retreat.

Please do not let the concern of transportation hinder you from registering for this retreat. Transportation will be coordinated for anyone who needs a ride to and form the retreat.
