This run or hike will have it all - beautiful north shore trails to run/hike and a game to play! The routes are generally very runnable (or hike-able) in the lovely lower Mt. Seymour trails.
You’ll get a GPX route and a map of the area. Run on the trails and look for flags, noting the clues as you run by (phone picture or memory).
When you are done, come back to submit your answers for a chance to win PRIZES and POINTS. The most points will get an extra point for the leaderboard! This is a super fun event! Pairs/groups are encouraged.
We'll have kid friendly options as well!
Details:
Date and Time: May 18, gather at 8:45. Mass start at 9 AM, let me know if you want to start at a different time
Duration: up to 5h
Distances: From 3.4 to 23k, depending on how many bingo letters you find. 18k for the full BINGO is the most popular distance.
Location: lower Seymour trails, start at the Parkgate library at the corner closest to Bean Around the World. Finish is Bean Around the World where we can meet for hot drinks/snacks/prizes.
Course info:
Increasing levels of distance and elevation depending on how many letters you find. All require some way finding/ability to follow a GPX trace (or you can download to your phone and let RunGo tell you when to turn) or good map reading skills or someone to follow. But if you miss a turn, you’ll just miss the flags and a clue - it’s a popular network of trails and you can’t go too far wrong.
RunGo routes will also be provided closer to the event.
