We will be hosting our 7th annual Spirit of Caring Awards on Thursday, May 22nd at the NORAD Mill. The Spirit of Caring Awards & Celebration is Northern Berkshire United Way’s signature annual fundraising gala—a night that spotlights the neighbors whose service, generosity, and leadership keep our region strong.
Now in its 7th year, the event brings together business leaders, nonprofit partners, volunteers, and community members at the historic NORAD Mill for an evening of connection, inspiration, and impact. During this year's event we will be honoring three individuals for their impact on the Northern Berkshires.
*Rich Weisenflue, BFAIR President and CEO will be honored with the Al Nelson Spirit of Caring Award
*Paula Consolini and Jim Mahon from Williams College will receive the Steve Green Spirit of Community Award
*Tonia Nicholas will receive the Spirit of the Future Award
*Specialty Minerals and Adams Community Bank have been nominated for Campaign of the Year.
As part of the event and in an effort to raise additional funds to be distributed to the biggest areas of need in our community we will be having Raffles with various prizes and a wine pull.
All proceeds will be put towards improving the lives of our neighbors here in Northern Berkshire.
