Spring Wilderness Hike

Spend the start of spring on an adventurous hike looking for the early signs of growth. We will meet at the Hickory Ridge Lookout Tower and hike 3.6 miles total. This trail is moderate in difficulty with uneven terrain. Be prepared for a long hike by bringing a daypack with any necessities, snacks and water. Dress appropriately for the weather including proper clothing and footwear. There are no restroom facilities at this location so please come prepared to practice Leave No Trace principles and dispose of waste properly. Hikes will leave promptly at 10am EST. Because it is in a designated wilderness area, there is a group size limit, and the hike will be limited to 8 participants.
