Kids To Parks Day 2025

Join us on May 17 at Bentley Park in Norman for a fun day at the park! ☀️🌳

🌿 Kids to Parks Day is a national day of outdoor play celebrated annually on the third Saturday of May. This day helps connect kids and families with local, state, and national parks and public lands through thousands of park events promoting discovery and exploration in the great outdoors. 😎

We will have a sidewalk chalk mural, Pioneer Library story time, a Nerf dart battle, inflatables, a DJ, free face painting, yard games, and Beanstalk coffee and son!

Oklahoma Electric Cooperative's Wired Up for Safety program will be at Kids to Parks Day! Meet incredible first responders and get an up-close look at the amazing tools they use to keep our community safe. 🔧🚒 Get ready to be wowed by high-voltage electrical demonstrations from OEC's Live Line demo!

The event is free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to bring sunscreen, water, and comfortable shoes for outdoor play.
