Day of Play Presented by PNC

The Children’s Discovery Museum is hosting its annual Day of Play from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, in Uptown Normal.

Presented by PNC, join us for a free public event as Uptown Normal transforms into a giant playground with more than 60 community organizations and businesses.

PNC’s support allows the Museum to present the event at no charge for families and offer same-day reduced admission ($5) at the Museum until 5 p.m.

Free activities include:
Touch-a-Truck: an up-close look at machinery and equipment.
Physical play activities include Bike Rodeo, giant sandbox, bounce house and more
STEAM activities: exploring science, technology, engineering arts and math concepts.
