THE RUMMAGE SALE, Heartland's 21st Anniversary of the 10-Minute Play Festival, opens Thursday, May 29, with a Pay-What-You-Can Preview. Performances continue through June 14 and are sponsored by Deanna Frautschi and Alan Bedell.
The plays were selected from hundreds of submissions from around the world and now enjoy their world premiere on Heartland’s stage in Normal, IL.
The eight plays are directed by Kristopher Ian Guthrie, Mia Katz, Dave Montague, Rich Tinaglia and Jason A. Vales, featuring 18 actors!
About the plays: When Summer comes around there are two things you can count on—Heartland Theatre’s long-running annual 10-Minute Play Festival and people having sales to get rid of stuff. In 2025, Heartland brings these summertime staples together on stage for “The Rummage Sale”. If one person’s trash is another person’s treasure, what happens when those people come together?
