Dragon Boat Festival June 7 2025

Come celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival at the Connecticut-Asia Cultural Center. Join our dragon dance team as they perform the traditional dragon dance. New for 2025 is our Tai Chi Fan Dance performed by our Taiwanese members. Additional activities include wooden dragon boat races (on land, for adults) dragon boat table top racing (for kids), arts and crafts for (kids and adults) and photo opportunities in our wooden dragon constructed in Tawian. Complimentary traditional Dragon Boat Festival vegetarian food will be served from 12-1pm. All activities are complimentary.

During your visit, you can explore the many other events and activities happening at the Culture Center on June 7. There are tours of the Buddhist, Confucian and Taoist Cultural Exhibits, Tea Art, and a Wellness Seminar.
