Are you interested in delving deeper into yoga philosophy?

Join us for a free* philosophy talk based on our June theme of the month: Brahmacharya / Wise Use of Energy.

Brahmacharya asks us to look at our lives and to use the life force, the energy we have wisely. What are the ways in which we are expending more energy than we are receiving, or where are we placing our attention that is best redirected in another way. It also can be translated as abstinence.

There are so many perspectives and ways that we can look at this Yama, and incorporate what it's asking of us in our day to day lives.

Join us for an hour unraveling Brahmacharya through reflecting on your yoga practice and the way you approach life and how this Yama can play a role for you on and off your mat.

Please bring pen and paper or a journal.

There will opportunity to ask questions as part of a facilitated discussion.

When: Sunday 1 June 2025
Time: 6.15pm (after the yin practice)
Investment: Free for members (weekly, monthly and yearly memberships), $10 for non members
