The Nolanville SMART Museum is thrilled to announce the launch of a fun summer program: a free Space Camp program set to ignite the imaginations of middle- and high-school-aged students across the region. Made possible by Space Teams Labs and supported by NASA, this innovative program will take place at the SMART Museum located at 408 N 10th Street, Nolanville, TX 76559.

The Summer Space Camp will provide students with an immersive experience that combines education, collaboration, and hands-on engagement. Participants will have the opportunity to delve into the wonders of space exploration through a virtual portal, courtesy of Space Teams Labs.

Utilizing cutting-edge technology, students will embark on a journey of discovery, experiencing space mission design and simulation like never before. From spacewalking on the International Space Station to exploring the surface of distant planets and moons, participants will be transported to the frontiers of space exploration through captivating virtual reality (VR) demos.

Durig the camp, participants will have the opportunity to design and build their own spacecraft, conduct simulated space missions, establish bases on distant planets, and discover resources vital for sustaining life in space habitats. Through these and other hands-on activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of space science and the challenges faced by astronauts on real-life missions.
