Those interested in a project to widen Route CC and install intersection improvements at 22nd Street in Ozark are invited to a public meeting to discuss proposed improvements and project information on Tuesday, April 29.
The come-and-go meeting will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, at Sonrise Baptist Church, 3550 E Highway CC, Ozark. No formal presentation is planned. Those who attend may come at any time between 4:30 and 6 p.m. to learn about the project and ask questions.

Project Summary:
• Intersection improvements at Route CC and 22nd Street to improve safety and traffic flow
• Widen Route CC to a 4-lane with raised medians from Fremont Road to 22nd Street
• 10-foot-wide shared-use path on the north side of Route CC, 5-foot-wide sidewalk on the south side of Route CC
Traffic impacts during construction:
• Lane closures and traffic shifts on Route CC from Fremont Road to 22nd Street
• Route CC night closures for storm sewer installation
• Businesses will have access during construction
• No signed detour. Drivers should find alternate routes.
• Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zones
• Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Construction is scheduled to begin in Winter 2025/Spring 2026.
The estimated project cost is $15.9 million and is a cost share with the City of Ozark and Ozarks Transportation Organization.
