It's Labor Day weekend! A blissful 3-day respite and moment of recuperative breath, as we regretfully close the books on our languid summers, and prepare ourselves for the busy travails of the ensuing year. Sacrificing lazy days and drawn-out starry nights in favor of work, jam-packed schedules, and absolutely no time to watch losing baseball teams. Vacation's over - summer's gone - the Rockies' season ended in April anyway - it's time to get back at it, folks...
Nope. Nah. Not doin' that.
We've decided to just extend summer instead. Seems like a much better plan.
Get one last breath of fresh air with us this Thursday night, as we hit the stage at Niwot's Whistlestop Park, for an epic summer afterparty with a great purpose. We will be reinstating ALL the joyful, warm, and sunny vibes for the Rise Benefit Concert, to raise funds for the Jared Music Foundation, which provides scholarships and instruments to aspiring young musicians. And thanks to our friends at Rock'n Rails who promote this event, you can expect all the same amazing accouterments that make summertime Thursday evenings in Niwot THE place to be: delectable food trucks, cash bar, gorgeous Front Range views and sunsets, and maybe a passing train or two! Plus a sweepstakes trip to Napa! It will be like summer never left! Which of course, it never did. We have willed it thus.
So join us this Thursday and manifest your own endless summer. Because labors can wait indefinitely, but it's pretty urgent to eat your ice cream before it melts.
