Archaeology Open House

We welcome you to come visit and explore the nationally recognized archaeological site of Fort St. Joseph! This year, we are celebrating “Resurgence: Expanding Trade in New France”.

Our event highlights include: recently discovered artifacts, an engaging living history village, replica birchbark canoe rides, ask an archaeologist and zooarchaeology programs, a partially recreated French house, a historical walking tour and much more!

The event is located near the corner of Fort and Bond Streets in Niles, MI. Admission is free and includes activities for all ages.
