What You’ll Experience: Drum Journey & Spirit Connection –
Experience a drum journey to connect with the spirit of the
materials: the wooden frame, the hide, and the animal it comes from, allowing you to form a deep and respectful relationship with your drum before creation begins.
Crafting in a sacred space – Learn the art of working within sacred space, smudging and cleansing yourself and your materials, calling in the Seven Directions, and honoring the elements as you craft your drum.
Personalization & Intentions – Adorn your drum with symbols, burn designs, paint, or color the frame, and choose your own lace color to make it uniquely yours.
Talking Rounds & Sharing Circle – Each day, we gather in heart-centered sharing to deepen our connection to ourselves, each other, and our creative process.
Drum Blessing & Activation Ceremony – At the end of our journey, we bless our drums with prayers and intentions, welcoming.
