Join Lauren on the longest day of the year, the Summer Solstice, to honor the light within with a Restorative Yoga practice. During the Summer Solstice, the Sun will reach it's highest point in the sky. This cycle of the Sun reminds us to begin to turn inward, to find the nourishment needed to grow and evolve. It is a time to slow down, pause, and allow the energy and intentions planted during the Spring Equinox to reach full bloom. This time represents patience, continuing to nurture our intentions and find purpose in the process. By honoring this day of light, and the light within ourselves, we will energetically set into motion a period of awakening to last all summer until the Fall Equinox.
During the Restorative practice, Lauren will guide you through passive poses and lead a guided meditation to help you declutter your mind, regain inner balance, and prepare for the coming season of patience and resilience to help you see your intentions through. She will help you to embrace confidence in your journey, welcome the light and resilience of the Sun, and connect with the season and cycles of nature. Use this beautiful practice to nourish the seeds of intention you've planted for the season ahead.
This practice is open to all levels, especially beginners. Wear whatever you are most comfortable in. Props will be provided. Feel free to bring your own mat, but we do have some you can borrow. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the event start time to get checked in and settled.
