Walking with Grief is a 4 hour, nature-based, horse-supported experience where you’ll connect with your body, release what no longer serves, and begin to notice what still remains. Through quiet reflection, activity and connection we’ll create space for what’s been held inside without forcing words are rushing the process. Grief changes us. Let it change you gently.
Grief doesn’t follow a map. But sometimes, it helps to walk a path.
This immersive half-day workshop is designed for those living with loss—whether fresh or long-held, spoken or silent. Guided by a seasoned trauma therapist (Somatic Experiencing and EMDR) and equine-assisted learning facilitators, you’ll be supported in moving through grief gently and creatively.
Together, we’ll:
Explore the somatic wisdom of bilateral movement to settle the nervous system and awaken healing
Connect with horses, who meet us without words or judgment, helping us feel seen and steady
Express grief through natural elements and creative arts
Share space with others on their own grief journey, without pressure or performance
You do not need to be “good with horses,” athletic, or artistic. All activities are invitational and paced for you.
Come as you are. Leave with a little more breath, a little less weight, and a deeper sense of being held.
