Summer Season

May 3 | Glitched Reality: AI Meets CAM’s Collection
Glitched Reality is a student pop-up exhibition where Niagara University and Niagara Falls High School students use AI to use CAM’s permanent collection as inspiration for their own original works. By blending digital tools with personal expression, students explore themes of identity, environmental change, and the future of art. This exhibition challenges how we see and interact with art, bridging the past and present through the creative “glitch” of AI.

June 7 | Brigid Kennedy: Social Fabric
Social Fabric showcases Kennedy's masterful artistic exploration of both intimate personal spaces and urgent global issues, blending representational and abstract approaches across two compelling series. Viewers are invited to journey through the contemplative "Inside/Outside Reflection" works that transform familiar environments into meditative compositions, before engaging with the powerful "Social Justice" series that confronts challenging societal issues with compassion and clarity.

July 12 | We Were At the School. We Were There. We Remember.
This exhibition explores Indigenous narrative sovereignty through artistic responses to the Thomas Indian School's painful legacy on Seneca-Cattaraugus Territory. Curated by Hayden Haynes to map ancestral trauma, the collection of artworks promotes healing and challenges colonial perspectives. These pieces invite visitors to confront uncomfortable historical truths with courage, validating the experiences of those affected by residential schools while reimagining Indigenous presence and power.

August 2 | Jessica Gadra | Fact in Fantasy
This exhibition offers a journey through the magical realms of fairy tales, mythology, and folklore through Gadra's masterful artistry, celebrating how these timeless narratives continue to shape our cultural landscape while inviting viewers to rediscover beloved tales reimagined with stunning detail and imaginative flair.
