Language and love blend together in this heartfelt story of modern romance. George is a leading linguist who specializes in dead and dying languages. He spends his days immersed in his work until his wife walks out on him, twice. Can George rekindle his marriage with the help of an aging couple, the last speakers of a language on the edge of extinction, or his enamored coworker, Emma, who has been admiring him from afar?

Directed by Erin Leder, The Language Archive stars Nigel Rogers as George, Tess Ammerman as Mary, Monica Guest as Emma, Adele Batchelder as Alta and William Ince as Resten. Judi Parrish is the producer and Kristin Schrier is the stage manager.

Performances run July 18 through Aug. 3 Thursdays through Sundays at the Spring Garden Mill! The July 18 performance will be followed by our Opening Night Reception, and the July 27 performance will be followed by a talkback with the cast and crew.
