Sketching and Drawing: Drawing in Life Workshop 08/13 // All Levels // Wednesday

This workshop for all levels will cover the basics of drawing from life and provide students with the skills to render space two-dimensionally. Class will meet and work at a specific location across the area, including parks, cafes, museums, and more.

Students will learn composition, light and shading, and the effects of light on color to create a dynamic series of drawings. Class demonstrations will focus on subject selection, proportions and perspective, personal expression, and creating a sense of space. One-on-one and group critiques will help students to take their work to a new level.

This workshop is great for students looking to fill out their sketchbook, learn from drawing in life, and looking to spend some time outside and/or out of the house this summer! See website for materials list.
