Amidst the Gothic splendor of St. Ignatius Parish at Boston College, prepare to indulge in a truly frightening night of classical music!
Soloists Ming-hang Tam (violin) and Aubrie Dionne (flute), displaying exceptional virtuosity and transcendent artistry, will take our audience on a journey of life, death, and rebirth through a program that spans across centuries of musicians! Throughout the evening, you will hear death and the afterlife represented in a myriad of different lights, from a diabolically good devil’s trill, to a lark ascending from the ashes.
Also featuring: Brandenburg and Beyond, a New England based Neo-Baroque Ensemble whose performances range from traditional Baroque masterworks to new compositions with hints of jazz, folk, and modern influences.
