DIRECTIONS: Meet in the KVSP Visitor Center located 1 mile north of Route 206 off Goodale Road. Turn right into the park entrance at the big brown sign and follow the winding driveway to the back parking lot from which you can see the stone visitor center.
For adults. This interactive presentation based on the book written by Dave Rutan will cover the history of the Lackawanna Railroad from its beginning to its end in 1966. Our speaker is Ken Harrington, who grew up in rural Maryland, moved to Sparta in 1975, and relocated to Lafayette in 1988. Ken is a lifelong railroad fan and has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland. - LG
