About the Book:
This engaging memoir features 34 chapters, each devoted to a specific car the author owned and drove, from a Chrysler Hemi-powered 1930 Ford Model A, to a 1998 Corvette, with an array of sedate family cars in between. Each chapter pairs firsthand stories with historical background, technical notes, and original vehicle specifications, giving readers a layered look at how one man's life intersected with the machines that moved him – literally and figuratively.
