Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) Walk

MEETING LOCATION/DIRECTIONS FROM ROUTE 206: Turn onto Goodale Road, drive 1 mile, then turn right into the park entrance. Follow the driveway through the big meadow to the parking lot in front of the visitor center. Meet in the KVSP Visitor Center.

For adults. Forest bathing, which originated in Japan over 35 years ago, is the process of soaking up the sights, smells, and sounds of a natural setting to promote physiological and psychological health. The result is a feeling of relaxation that promotes a myriad of measurable health benefits, from lower blood pressure to a stronger immune system.
