Brewing up Business-September with Jennifer Stiver

Ladies, join us on Tuesday, September 23rd to meet our speaker, Jennifer Stiver. Jennifer’s topic will be joy, entrepreneurship and expecting the unexpected.
A little about Jennifer:

Throughout her career, Stiver has frequently been the only woman in the room and has succeeded by doing things differently. She is a community leader and entrepreneur who encourages change and risk-taking. She started 2 Pink Magnolias with her mom in Downtown Newton in 2010 and later renovated a downtown building to prove what could be successfully done and has been a catalyst in the renaissance of Downtown Newton.

Stiver earned her BSBA from UNC-Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and her MBA from UNC-Charlotte’s Belk College of Business. Her marketing and sales career began at Black & Decker. (Yes, she knows how to use power tools!) She is currently a Customer Strategy & Planning Manager for a global consumer healthcare company, where she has worked for 20 years, and is co-owner of 2 Pink Magnolias. Stiver is actively involved in the community and dedicated to helping Newton and Catawba County reach their full potential. She has served on the boards of The Chamber of Catawba County, Ashure Ministry, and the Newton Business Advisory Committee. Stiver is currently the President of the Downtown Newton Development Association. She also regularly consults on local marketing initiatives.
