This route is from the A382 which is signposted to Parke, Bovey Tracey. It is a best to look at the Google map before you travel, to avoid getting lost, it does make a difference and save lots of time.
There is a level walk along by the river, as well as a long walk..
It is a while since we have been here, so thanks to Paul, we will be revisiting.
Anyone who has any ideas for group walks, please can you let me know.. there are a few things that are necessary ie:
* Adequate parking
* Water (in the summer months)
* A walk without roads /traffic
* Not too many people, or sadly we received complaints and even fabricated accusations
There was a time we used to go to Parke at Bovey a few times a year, but we received complaints from the warden, because the other walkers were averse to lots of GSDs, who were impeccably behaved, I would add. All this has to be taken into consideration. Dartmoor walk suggestions are ideal, if they meet the above criteria.
As always, we will be donating to support GSRE kennel dogs, who continue to come in thick and fast.
Dax arrived, a 14 week old pup at Camelot kennels just last week (dear little furry soul was too scared to get get out of the van, but there is a massive difference already in his demeanour in just days), In addition, Camelot have taken in a couple of pups under 12 months. Lucky, is one of them, a very scared older pup and 3 new souls with a shared ugly past, none of them have seen the world and they are all terrified. What a horrific state the world is in right now.
