We're so excited to be offering this project, an aesthetically pleasing dovetailed breakfast tray, where we will be working in seasoned ash and oak, two local hardwoods.
This course is for you if you are a confident beginner or if you already have a little experience with chisel work.
Having used chisels before at home, or having been on one of our beginners courses is ideal.
You will learn about some basic principles that are fundamental to all carpentry and joinery. Learn to accurately saw and chisel. Make and use a 'Dovetail Joint', which is one of a variety of wood working joints. You will learn about it's application, so you can transfer what you've learnt to other projects at home.
You will also learn and practice the use of a variety of hand tools, like the chisel, hand saw, combination square and sliding bevel.
All materials are included.
