Fun in the Parks - Oak Leaf Sports Complex Field

Fun in the Park is a series of events aimed at children between 3 to 8 years, which take place in 8 of our parks during the school summer holidays, the fun starts at 11 am – 3 pm. The event is organised by Great Aycliffe Town Council and provides free entertainment to families. There will be side stalls, body art, food vans and ice cream vans which will incur a fee.

Oak Leaf Sports Complex Field – This is our animal themed park, Mr Twister will be entertaining the children in the marquee with his magic show, there will be 2 x small fairground rides, a large inflatable assault course and bumpy carz. The Animals About Town will be popping along with their farmyard animals and other furry and feathered friends. There will also be a new edition to the park, Animal Story, with their display of wild and exotic creatures. We will also be receiving a visit from the Bubble Man!
