Featuring Tim Freedman (The Whitlams) & Augie March's Glenn Richards
Our first show of the year is with Tim Freedman. Tim is the lead singer, songwriter and pianist in legendary Australian band The Whitlams. The Whitlams piano-based indie folk / rock shows are a cultural touchstone in Australia. Since 2022 a reinvigorated Freedman led The Whitlams in a resurgence, touring heavily and releasing two new albums, Sancho and with an Americana version of the band, Kookaburra. The latter line up is called The Whitlams Black Stump, and the album went to no. 1 on the ARIA Australian Country Album chart.
Playing our first show back with Tim is Augie March's, Glenn Richards. Glenn is the multi award winning songwriter and singer for one of Australia’s most accomplished and well regarded bands, Augie March. Recipient of the AMP, Hottest 100 Number 1 Song, APRA Breakthrough Songwriter and Best Song, plus gold and platinum selling albums with Augie March. He is currently working on a new suite of songs to be recorded with a ‘super band’ made up of members of the Paul Kelly band, Marlon Williams band, The Drones, among others. He works out of his own studio, Dark Satanic Mills Studio in Hobart, Tasmania.

Plan ahead with the following info:
* Pram parking available in the foyer. Baby change set up in the foyer bathroom.
* Packed food & snacks are allowed in the venue. Beer garden open with kids menu available on the day.
* We offer a dance floor for the small fries, standing room up the back, as well as row seating. If you require a seat, please arrive on time. Seating fills up quickly.
* Colouring stations set up throughout the beer garden, and on the mezzanine.
* Volume is set at a safe level for small fries and carefully monitored throughout the show. Recommended use of hearing protection/baby ear muffs if you have any concerns.
* Content warning. Although we ask our Artists to keep it PG, we can't always ensure it will stay that way once the show has begun.
* Parents remain responsible for their children at all times!!!
