Join WAVE Foundation and ReNewport for a Tree Planting event on Saturday, October 25th, 2025, 9:30am-11:30am, meeting at 5th and York Street in Newport, Kentucky (this is within walking distance of Newport on the Levee). WAVE is collaborating with ReNewport, another local nonprofit dedicated to the revitalization of Newport, Kentucky. This tree planting event is part of a larger initiative to bring native plants, foliage, and green spaces back to urbanized areas. Please use this link to sign up and sign your waiver:

9:30am-10am: check-in and breakfast
10am-11:15am: tree planting on the corner of 5th street and York street
11:15am-11:30am: clean up and head home
Be sure to sign up quickly as this volunteer event will be limited to 20 volunteer slots.
