The aim is to stick to these timings as strictly as possible, but as you know sometimes things change. Keep an eye on things on the night, the only thing absolutely set in stone is 11pm curfew.

Transport.
Be mindful that the rugby is on in Cardiff and Newport County are also playing at home. This will cause disruptions on the roads and trains. Leave plenty of time to allow for delays, especially on Saturday. National coaches and trains are both a five minute walk away from the venue.

Is there going to be food?
We’ve been asked what is happening with food a lot. There are plenty of great takeaways and restaurants in the area including Newport Market which has something for everyone. Food won’t be served at the venue itself but feel free to pop out and grab something if you have to. Last entry back into the venue both nights will be 9pm

Seating
It’s very limited in the main hall with only around 50 folding chairs dotted around the edges. Please only use them if you really need to, and if someone needs it after you’ve had your go - offer it up. They are meant for more of a ‘rest your feet for a while’ than ‘settle down for the night’ sort of thing. Alternatively there is more seating in the front bar away from the chaos if you need a break.

Flags
Please no waving flags, it’s not about you it’s about celebrating Cavan.

Stage Invaders
As always, if you’re getting up on stage this is at your own risk. Let’s have fun, but look after yourself and don’t end up arse over tit.

Where’s the After Party?
Well, yes we have to close the venue at 11pm sharp both nights but at least you’re right next to the best pubs and clubs in town. You’ve got the Carpenter’s Arms, Cross Keys, McCann’s, Le Pub and the Murenger all within stumbling distance of the gig. Some of which will stay open probably later than you can stand up.
