All the “look at me” stuff doesn’t mean much since I probably won’t be the first person to witness a cardiac arrest. My passion is to help all my CPR/AED students to feel confident and competent to perform to the best of their abilities and training so they can rest assured they have done everything in their power to improve the outcome for some in need.

12:30PM-2:30PM - Understanding Ages and Stages Questionnaires

Description: There is a window of opportunity during this time to ensure your children have all the proper experiences to ensure they are developmentally on track. To make sure that all children have the supports needed to succeed, it is important to use a tool to look at each child's progress. Ages and Stages Questionnaires pinpoints developmental progress in children between the ages of one month to 5 years.

Ages and Stages Questionnaires: Social-Emotional reliably tracks young children’s social-emotional development in the crucial first 6 years of life. Participants will be shown how to use the tools, strategies on conducting screenings and how to make referrals when needed.

About the Speaker:

Elizabeth Singleton is a highly experienced early childhood educator, trainer, and coach dedicated to improving early learning experiences across Kentucky. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Education from Northern Kentucky University.

With a Level 5 training credential in Kentucky, Elizabeth provides high-quality training and coaching services to early care and education professionals across the Commonwealth. She is committed to equipping educators with research-based strategies that enhance child development, classroom practices, and family engagement.

In addition to her previous roles as a public preschool teacher and developmental interventionist for Kentucky Early Intervention Services, Elizabeth works closely with early childhood professionals to strengthen their skills, improve program quality, and support the growth of young learners. Through her work, she strives to elevate early education standards and empower those who shape children's earliest experiences.
