It & I is a solo act that uses, guitar, vocals and percussion with live looping to create a unique and heavy sound that echos inspiration from the likes of Sleepytime gorilla museum, Tom Waits, Serj Tankian and Faun Fables to name a few. It & I is a super talent and we're excited to have him play again here in Newport!
Arthur Buezo’s latest album is titled “Savage Folk.” However, it might be a title more fitting to his performance style. Dressed in a dark suit and a large brim hat, Buezo sat behind a drum strumming a guitar. He stomped the drum with his right foot and shook a tambourine on his left. A small amp for his guitar sat slightly behind him on a milk crate. Buezo completed the look by decorating his drum with pelts, antlers, and the horn of a gramophone.
Buezo performed originals for the festival crowd and capped his performance with the unique guitar riffs matching his rustic vocals in “Valhalla.”
Polybanderous is a famously unknown songwriter who’s achieved middling success on the Seattle scene in five different bands. He mixes guitar, vocals, and saxophone, into a blend of alternative, soul, rock, and pop originals.
Come witness his slow fade to obscurity.
