Take a walk with us through Little Buffalo's historic district as we explore the rich history of the valley, from its early settlement, tavern life, the iron furnace, and the rail way. We will not go into the Mill or Tavern, as both of those buildings will be open for full tours at 1pm, and we encourage you to stay and visit those afterwards.
Meet at the park office.
For this walk, we will walk to the Sulfur Spring Cemetery, located just across the road from the park office, to the Blue Ball Tavern, then to the covered bridge, Shoaff's Mill, and finally Way Car #12. The total walk is just under a mile of easy, mainly accessible walking. If you need accommodations, please let us know at least 3 days prior to the start of the program. Most of these spots can be driven to if needed.
