Literacy and play go hand in hand! Early Literacy Play Date returns to our Newport Branch on Saturday, May 17. This event features activities and games for young ones that promote early literacy. Adults can also check out local and relevant resources and services.

The Children's Theater will kick off the program with a performance of 'Jacqueline and the Beanstalk.' Starting at noon, story times will rotate every half hour.

Activities include: Big Blue Blocks, Play-Doh letters, Ages and Stages screenings, games and more!

Resource Fair featuring: KTL Therapy, North Key/First Steps, Headstart, NKY Education Council, EC Learn, 1N5 Mental Health Awareness and NKY Drug Free Alliance.

The Book Bus will be parked outside of the branch! Make sure to climb aboard to pick out a free book to keep.
